This was a very difficult image to capture and prepare. The low light, and high ceilings meant that bouncing the flash only barely put enough light on the subject. The ISO setting in the camera had to be turned up fairly high, which results in chromance noise. I've tried to lighten the image and cover the chromance noice with a bit of luminance noise. I'm hoping the end result is that it looks artictically grainy Whatever the case, the expression is so priceless that it's worth the problems.
