Early bloom

It's not even August, and yet the streets are lined with bursts of pink. Spring is still a month away, but try telling that to the beautiful cherry and plumb blossoms that grow on the sides of many streets in suburban Melbourne.

This was taken on my first photo shoot with my brand new Tamron 24-135mm lens. I love it! The extra reach compared to my 18-55mm is SO useful, and the speed and sharpness of this lens are excellent. I'm looking forward to higher quality photos taken with this new 'walkaround' lens.
